August 15, 2012:  Dare we say it?  Bryant could be the perfect boy!  He is so laid back and easy going.  Curious, active and bright, Bryant is the perfect combination of spunk, affection and Dobie diligence. Bryant is a smaller boy for those who like all the great Dobie traits in a smaller package.  But, his compact stature doesn't stop him from being a vigilant defender in his yard and house, alertly patrolling his domain.  Bryant shares his foster home with two Doberdivas.  And, they do give him a run for his money.  He allows them to run the house while he is patient and puts up with them occassionally being domineering toward him.  He loves his crate, is housetrained and is ready to go.  As Bryant is heartworm positive, he will be adoptable on a foster to adopt basis until he test negative. Bryant is a smaller black and tan male between 3 and 4 years old.  This little guy wandered up into a yard and never left once he was shown some kindness.  He is very thin and recovering from mange.  He is adapting well to his crate and is sweet and gentle.  He is heartworm positive and will have to be nuetered and those processes can't begin until he is cleared from the mange.  He is available on a foster to adopt basis.  Bryant has a long road ahead until he is perfectly healthy again and the love and attention at his foster home is helping him feel better fast.   When you gaze in those lovely brown eyes you see an intelligence and a dog older than his years.  He has no doubt seen alot and obviously hasn't been treated so well, but his unflagging faith in humans hasn't died and he wants a family of his own!
