Miss Derby (aka Love Sponge) is a Sweet Petite!  She is a little girl (weighs 41 pounds).  She has picked up the rhythms of her foster house easily and has adapted well to a house full of animals (2 small dogs, 1 cat and a cockatoo).  She happily joins the gang at the front door to welcome her foster dad home from work or at the back door to go out and chase the squirrels.  Once she’s through chasing squirrels, little Miss Derby Diva prefers using stepping stones to walking through the grass.  She willingly gives up her bed to the cockatoo when he wanders over to check her out.  She has sniffed the bird and let him bonk her on the head, all with no signs of aggression.  She does react to movement while on her walks (joggers, bikers, etc.) but takes correction well.  She has attempted to chase the house cat a couple of times but stopped immediately with a voice command.  She would love to be a couch potato and does crate on command.  She has a sensitive stomach and does best with several small meals a day.  She is a delight!
