Paulie
The boys will be neutered late April and will be ready to find their new families shortly thereafter. Paulie and Ronnie are perfect examples of how they can be neglected and treated badly but it doesn’t dampen their spirit or their affection for humans!
Paulie is 18 months old and such a pretty boy! He has lovely cropped ears and a docked tail. He and Ronnie were recovered from a yard as a neglect/owner surrender case (see photo below). They were very malnourished, eaten up by fleas and have little to no hair. The boys are delightful, very kind and appreciative of any attention that is offered. Both smile when spoken to and wag their entire hips! Paulie is a quick learner --- he will do anything to please.
Paulie is very dark colored on his coat; he appears to perhaps be a blue, but could turn into black and rust with some more good nutrition the vet says. Paulie is small framed and will most likely weigh around 70 pounds when he gets up to speed. He is house and crate trained.
