Mouse
This gorgeous black and tan girl would love to be invited onto the couch for a snuggle, or is content to lie on the floor in the same room with you.
Mouse is crate trained, playful, and obedient. “Mouse” loves to be with her humans, but is comfortable both playing outdoors and relaxing inside. Because Mouse is sensitive about her food (she may not have had much available in her previous life), she should take her meals alone, preferably in her crate so that she feels safe and has no fears that it may be taken away.
She co-exists peacefully in her foster home with small children, cats, and a rabbit; and once the food has been put away, she enjoys playing with her foster family’s dog for hours! We believe Mouse is about 2 years old. Unfortunately, Mouse tested positive for heartworms and will have to undergo treatment before she is available for adoption in April.
