Piper
Piper as an energetic and affectionate dog will be a wonderful addition to any family.
Piper is a very energetic and affectionate dog. She is a beautiful red girl with a pretty ear crop. She just turned 5 years old! She weighs about 70 lbs, but she thinks she is as light as a feather. She will do whatever she can to climb on your lap and flip over for a belly rub. She loves to play in the hose, although bath time is not her favorite. She will chase a flashlight for hours, chase tennis balls and footballs, and she will stalk the mosquitoes in your house until she gets them all!
She gets along with other dogs perfectly, but she wants all of the attention for herself. She is very patient with kids, but she forgets how big she is sometimes. She needs regular walks and stimulation to help with her high energy. She pulls very hard on a leash at first, but then she remembers her manners and heels. She is a very, very smart dog. She will be a wonderful addition to any family. - July 2008
