Star
Star is a beautiful blue Dobergirl. She is about 2 1/2 years old. She has a kindness in her eyes which belies what her actual existence most likely was.
Star was turned into a shelter in north Texas having just given birth. The puppies were not turned in. She was infested with fleas and very thin. This has affected her coat, which is starting to recover.
Most likely, this wonderful girl was used as a breeding dog for her entire short life. She is cautious, but not timid. She is curious and friendly with other dogs, yet not submissive. She has integrated remarkably well into her new foster home. She is so affectionate and trusting and the way that she looks at you makes you really wonder what she is thinking. She LOVES going on walks and walks on lead well. Star has tested negative for heartworm and up to date on shots. She will be spayed shortly and will be ready to meet potential new homes.
