Abbey
Abbey will be ready to meet new parents in late summer!
Abbey is less than 2 years old and has a pretty black and rust coat. Her ears are natural, yet she holds one erect when she focuses on something like a pesky squirrel in her territory. Abbey is crate trained and housebroken. She likes the company of other dogs and the cat is a curiosity, but she doesn’t chase or terrorize them in any way.
She is gently and low key, laid back and affectionate. She is getting used to having a home, a safe place to lay her head and someone showing her attention and affection.
Abbey will be treated for heartworms and must undergo a painful and expensive operation to fix old damage to muscles in her right hind leg that have made her limp slightly.
