Morty
Morty is just as cute and laid back as you could want. He is an older, well-mannered gentleman looking for love.
Morty is a lovely 6 yr old male Doberman with black coat and natural silky ears. He is very affectionate, friendly, loving and smart. He is a house trained boy that is used to living indoors. He has been raised with a female rat terrier and he adores her. His owner had a change of living circumstances and now Morty is looking for his own new home.
His last dental teeth cleaning was approximately 1.5 years ago and he is up to date on all of his shots. He recently tested negative for heartworms. He does have moisture in his ears during the summer months that tends to cause yeast infections. A simple cleaner during these times keeps his ears dry and trouble-free.
He “grins” and is a very happy boy. He sits, stays, lays down, walks well on a leash, comes when called and does not beg for food. He is usually content to lie down and rest and he will let you know when he wants to be petted and loved. He is not a jumper or a digger. The one thing he and his old rat terrier running buddy did was use blankets or throws as “tugs-of-war”.
So, watch your blankets and give him plenty of toys to occupy him and all should be well!
